This is one of those shops that you really hate going into. Unfortunately it’s the only newsagents within a ten minute walk and I really am that lazy.
The staff are famously rude, acting like your purchase is just another in a long line of unjust inconveniences to their day. If I were a nicer man I’d feel like apologising, I’m not, so I just avoid the place.
Though I was in the other day and they had a guy I’ve never seen before. I was actually taken aback, as I approached the till, when I saw he wasn’t reading the paper. In fact, it was quite a positive experience. But the only one of those I can attribute to this particular shop.
