Good food and friendly service. This place was noticeable from the street and the reviews pushed us in. Food was good. Beer selection was good(didn’t carry Kilkenny, which was disappointing). Atmosphere was nice and cozy with the fireplace. Not too big, not too small, we’ll be back if traveling this way again.

Nothing is ordinary on this bar’s menu. Even the simple is elevated. Service is friendly. Not inexpensive but you get top quality for the price paid. Had grilled chicken burger(really a chicken breast, with salad and chips. The chicken was juice and hot off the grill when served. Lovely cucumber and lettuce mix on the bun as well.

Got the bangers and mash, those are pretty simple and not hard to mess up, and that they did not… The food was good, nothing spectacular or amazing but we enjoyed it… Mostly came bc it was recommended in lonely planet… At 7 on a Sunday they played Irish music which was nice, first time hearing straight Irish music in Ireland and not the American stuff were used to… had some good craft beers and the staff was extremely pleasant… good atmosphere, would come again

Not much for atmosphere but the food is very good, the service friendly and the fire Oh so nice! We had the smoked salmon special, the pepper potato soup, chicken kiev and a toasted chicken sandwich. All very yummy. The accompanying salads are exceptionally nice.

Love this place! Friendly staff and great food. Try the fish and chips — they are breaded, not fried and delicious! We stopped by three nights in a row for an Irish Coffee… the fresh cream that tops the drink is to die for.

Situated in the heart of Kenmare, PF’s offers a great selection of live music most nights including trad sessions, singer songwriters and rock bands. Usually a good atmosphere– especially if you sit near the bar. Food is only fair enough but in the evening it is the ideal spot for a cheap and cheerful meal in a lively setting. PF’s attracts a more alternative crowd but all are welcome!
