This place is great, but unfortunately(or fortunately for locals?) it’s now hidden away since the new motorway bypass was built. This is a great spot for a cup of tea and a sandwich. Their portions are huge, the style is rustic — home baked bread, real cuts of meat on the sandwich rather than wafer thin slices and delicious sweet treats — i recommend the scones, the pancakes are great & the coffee is good too. Worth a stop on your journey!

Arrived at a very busy time, with 2 very hungry children. Service was great– fast & friendly. Food was fantastic(croque Monsieur, BLT, coronation chicken wrap, all came with v tasty fries), coffee also very good. Surprised at other reviews, may be under new management? We’ll definitely be back

Dropped in here on the way back from Wexford on a Sunday Afternoon. It was extremely busy, but the waiter came over to us straight away and took our order promptly. The food was very good, even though we were waiting a little while for it to arrive. There was a few little things that I didn’t like, I asked for mayonnaise, which was in a little jar, when I opened it, it had been used by someone else, and there was tomato ketchup and something else in the jar. These should really be checked before handing them out. I asked for a new one, but it did put me off. They have a great selection of cakes and boxed cakes to take away, but trying to order these and then pay for everything together seemed a bit stressful for the staff. We must have been waiting an easy 15 minutes to pay at the counter for our goods and meal. Overall it’s a good spot, and I’m glad I checked it out. There is room for improvement though, just on the little things.

Great looking place. Great service. Pity the food was so average.
