History

Established in 1882.

The Druids Chair is a family run pub, situated in the village of Killiney in South Co. Dublin. It is in a beautifully renovated building providing food and beverages throughout the day with friendly staff, quality service and a free wifi connection.

The pub gets its name from a nearby Neolithic portal tomb which later become a pagan temple. The name Killiney is derived from the Irish, Cill-Inion-Leinin, which translates as «the church of the daughter of Lenin»

Our all day food menu serves Fresh Soup of the Day, Toasted Sandwiches, Crostini’s, Pies, Quiche, Dessert’s and Specialty Coffees.

We have a Function Room Available for Party or Events which holds up to 100 people.

Public transport to the pub:

Route 59 Bus from Dun Laoghaire or a 15 mins walk from Killiney or Dalkey DART Stations
