Décor — quirky. From a hand knitted Obama doll, toIrish St Bridgit’s crosses, old oil lamps and photographs plus the open turf fire. This place has the all the charm of a leprechaun, with none of the cheek! Music — The traditional sessions they have here on Friday nights were a blast. Fiddles, accordions, tin whistles, bodhrans, guitars, singers and even dancers. I couldn’t keep my feet from tapping. Staff and patrons — it’s like coming home. Friendliest people, even if they are blotto, they are happy! I’ve been in bars when men have been that blind and it was on for young and old, but in this pub, they sing or dance! when you go to the bar, expect to have a chat to everyone. This is where the locals go. From young people to older people, everyone was together, chatting and there wasn’t an age distinction. It was unique, and a fun environment. Premises — I think there is a public bar section, which i didn’t go into. I was in the lounge area by the fire place, there is a games room, and another room off the lounge with a good sized dance floor. Large parking lot in front. Even the exterior is exactly what a tourist would want from a pub. Traditional in every sense. I love this place!
