As an Irishman living in England Limerick is my hometown, but the cinema prices here now seem astronomical. You could buy a couple of DVDs for the price of entrance for 2. Seats are comfy, and cinemas are quite small and therefore quiet. Screens are also quite small however. Snacks and drinks are at the usual huge mark-​up price, I would recommend smuggling in a bag of jelly babies in your wife’s purse. Films change regularly, and there is always a wide variety although all children’s or ‘family’ films stop being shown by the very early evening. Screens are air conditioned and can get very chilly, so bring a jumper.

Well is there much to say about a cinema? You pretty much know what to expect… the stale and potent smell of cheesy nachos and the sticking floors! However this cinema with 12 screens does offer a pleasant afternoon with it’s comfy seats… I’ll give it that and if the film is good? Well then you’re on the pigs back!

I’m not shure whether there’re any others in Limerick at all…
Nothing spectacular but not bad either: 12 screens and therefore a pretty wide range of more or less mainstream films. Cushy seats and various drinks and snacks on offer. The prices… well — let’s say they’re «Irish» ;-)
