Ballinsheen House is a beautiful and quiet B&B at the very end of the village of Lisdoonvarna. The city centre with its pubs, post office and Spar is in walking distance maybe about 5 minutes walk. The house itself is lovely and quiet. We stayed in no. 7 of the seven available rooms from which we enjoyed a good view over the sunny Co. Clare.
Also we indulged in Mary’s excellent breakfast, the fresh fruit along with heaps of tea and coffee.
There really is nothing to complain about. Especially not the prices. The rates (at this time of the year) are 40 Euro per person a night.
