I just adore this little gem! It’s a small and quaint place, and has THE best Eggs Benedict and freshly squeezed orange juice. I’m a tea person but order their orange juice nearly every time. If you get there in the early morning you have the place all to yourselves. The staff has always been friendly, and usually the food comes out promptly.

Randomly found this tea rooms when out looking for somewhere to eat and what a great find it was! The interior is lovely with the scones and other baked treats on display– all very tempting. We ordered the pancakes and the migas. Both were so good! My pancakes were the fluffy American kind served with maple syrup. The migas: Pan seared chorizo and pancetta with black pudding, sauté garlic potato, topped with 2 free range fried eggs and served with tea or any illy coffee. The chorizo and black pudding were full of flavour. At 8.95 thought this was great value as is the tea rooms in general. A big slice of carrot cake to take away was 2.50. Haven’t tried it yet as we took it home for later but it looks yum! The staff are all very friendly. Can’t wait to go back to try more of the dishes.

This place is a hidden gem. The staff are great and so accommodating. When we arrived we were met with a delicious waft of freshly baked goods at the counter. It was very very busy but the staff allowed us to order before sitting down, and then got us the next available seat. One of the girls got the beetroot, grilled goats cheese, carmelised pecan and succulant chicken salad, as did I. It was absolutely what we were looking for a nice lunch that didn’t leave us hungry, but not too filling that may leave you falling asleep in the afternoon. As mentioned they have baked dessert fresh every morning and a real good cup of coffee. Their menu also highlights for gluten free, vegetarian etx and all dishes can be accommodated for. They even have gluten free bread! The décor is like a cosy kitchen/living room and would best suit a party of max ¾. Great little spot.

This place was formerly«The Weir Tea Rooms» that shut down and re-opened as «The Tea Rooms». They have quaint delf, with flower patterns and the little teapots that come sat on top of your cup. A selection of pastries and desserts as well as some salads, quiches, wraps. All very tasty foods, a lovely relaxed atmosphere and lots of women meeting for coffee and a naughty cake slice!
