There are 4 starbucks in and around the Blanchardstown centre. The Pavillion has friendly staff and the best opening hours — open from 7 or 7.30am weekdays which is great if like me you sometimes start early and want a hot drink on cold winter mornings. The two in the centre(odeon cinema and on ground floor) are always busy and also have no wifi (strange for a starbucks but there is the slow blanch centre wifi). The forth one is beside leisureplex and is probably the least frequented but I have on occasion been there when it’s full of parents and kids from next door. All 4 have similar décor and the same starbucks menu so really it’s just which one is closer to where you want to go in the centre. Now I’d only wish they would open one near the business parks on ballycoolin road!

I hope I am writing this for the right Starbucks as there are 4 in the Blanchardstown centre but for me the lower floor café is by far the best. I know a lot of people will think all Starbucks are the same but i think this one really stands out The café itself is really nice with comfortable seating and even a little outdoor section(but not outdoor as you’re in a shopping centre). The staff in this branch are really incredible and so friendly and accommodating. I think they really go the extra mile to give you a good experience as you might see from the photo I uploaded of my personalised coffee. Despite how busy it always is they always have time for a smile a few friendly words and the place is kept really clean. Other then that it has all the usual Starbucks offerings with seasonal coffee and drinks and good food and sweet things — thumbs up from me

I have tasted better coffees in other Starbucks café in Dublin. This place is nice for the way is built with glasses frame windows around so great light and nice furnitures. Staff is polite but doesn’t give you more than greeting, asking what you need to order. It would be great to have something less robotic. But that’s not a big deal. As I said in the start, as you are in Blanchardstown Shopping centre, there are better places to get coffees. I ordered a mocha coffee tall(their regular is called tall) for 3.50 Euro and they put in the cup a squeeze of chocolate flavours, not a proper chocolate. Also cocoa powder was not used. The presentation with the fresh cream on top was nice but the taste was like a latte with chocolate flavour syrup, not a proper mocha. Maybe they are better in Cappuccino or Americano, but mocha not. Just few meters from the area there are other competitors who are better than this one in mocha coffee. I felt to give 3 stars due to the nice interior, window glass frames and politeness of the staff.

The coffee always tastes burned in this branch. Head over to the one in the Pavillion Building for a decent Starbucks.

Starbucks is Starbucks and Starbucks is meh. It’s the McDonalds of coffee places. The interiors are pretty much standardised through each café, much like McDonalds. Staff are usually dead inside and stare right through you, much like McDonalds. Products are mass produced and a little bit crappy. Unlike McDonalds they completely overcharge in some kind of effort to disguise themselves as actual coffee. I got a double espresso; it tasted like very strong cheap filter coffee. Kind of like the pricey Nescafe stuff but in a tiny cup. The only good thing about the place is free wifi and comfy couches. That’s it really.

I really don’t get the appeal of Starbucks. The coffee is really poor quality in my opinion, the sandwiches and pastries are over-priced & often stale. Despite this, their cafés are often full or at least very busy. I managed to acquire loads of vouchers recently for free coffees & muffins in Starbucks, hence today’s visit. I had an espresso & a chocolate muffin. The muffin tasted like a Centra muffin. A Centra muffin that you’d misguidedly purchase at around 6pm cause you really fancy one, but then when you take it out of the bag you find its a bit more cardboard-like and disappointing than you’d expected. The espresso tasted like cheap instant coffee, it’s strength was somewhere between an Americano & an Espresso. Aside from the above, Starbucks has its uses. The staff were nice enough and there’s lots of seating. It’s a good spot for if you want to do a bit of work on a laptop too. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit. I really don’t see myself going back to this(or any) Starbucks again soon, even if it is free.

I was here recently and I love their coffee. I really wish there was one closer to me. Also we got the happy hour! Sadly I was too early for it but I was happy to see we have the option.

Starbucks in Blanche… And I’m having a white coffee ;) The interior is exactly like the other branches; as with this it has a signature design. And their coffees are also exactly as the others; and… They know my name as well now… This makes it hard for us reviewers… The question remains: what makes this establishment different from the other Starbucks, and could be beneficial to write about… Let me sip my latte and ponder on this. Ok; here goes: The signature seating arrangement is better executed than others, as it leaves a spacious feeling. I like that.

Finally, Pumpkin Spice has made its way to Ireland. This is one of the most exciting things to happen in Dublin, EVER! Double tall, no whip, soy, Pumpkin Spice latte please. One of my favorite things about Autumn. And the staff is super friendly, which is a bonus!

I’m not a regular coffee drinker, but when I do drink it, I like to drink from here. It’s fast and friendly. A nice place to chill out and chat with friends.
