great location and amazing views out over the sea, great terrace and the perfect spot for drinks in the sunshine, maybe some snacks… but the dinner was just average, we were a big group and they were so disorganised… like we came at a shift change… either way it was no excuse… 3⁄5 for the location and drinks, 1⁄5 for the food!

This excellent restaurant sits on high ground overlooking the bay at the entrance to Cork harbor. Although it was grey & overcast, it is still a lovely view. The staff are attentive and friendly. I was there in the early evening and there were families and children which made for a nice atmosphere and friendly hubbub. The food was excellent, real cuisine but without bring overly fussy or nouvelle. I was early enough for the early-​bird special which gives you an appetizer and main course for € 20.
