Had a fun night here with friends. Music was very good. Big covered smoking area. G&T 7.70 € which you’d pay for a premium Gin (which it wasn’t) in Dublin city centre. Nice for a town like Naas. Took inspiration for lots of quiet cocktail bars in Dublin.

Nice pub with decent music but the staff are a let down. Especially the security staff, who seem to be power mad. listen lads I get it, you like feeling big and important but to #1 Accuse someone of doing drugs (when not three feet from where he was standing their was a well known drug dealer openly hawking his wares) and #2 get overly physical while escorting said person across the dance floor (sly shoves across the dance floor where the cameras couldn’t pick it up, an extremely threatening behaviour and comments even though throughout our encounters I refrained from swearing or becoming offensive and intentionally guide them towards walking into other patrons) is just beyond the call of duty and slighty sadistic. Also when asked to provide me with his name or ISIA number or similar id I was told «don’t have to tell you my ducking name». Your meant to be providing a safe atmosphere for people to unwind in, not playing out your childish superiority fantasy. I will be informing my friends and family, sharing this on social media and mentioning it in my column.
