I’ve always made clothes. It used to be an absolute necessity if you wanted anything unique. Things are much more fun now but you couldnt even buy black tights outside of Dance World until 20 yrs ago. Don’t I sound old?

Business Owner

30 years experience in clothing alterations, tailoring and dressmaking for men, women and children. I work out of my home and provide a prompt, personal and affordable service. Most of my work is fairly routine-​hems, zips and fitting as well as a lot of customising. I’ve clients who bring me clothes they perhaps never should have bought in the first place, and rework it for them into something they can wear or something else entirely.

As well as dressmaking, I’ve a curtain and drapery service and do bridal wear.
