The Castle Inn

I’m not a pub fan and I haven’t been to many pubs in Dublin so I don’t really know how to compare pubs or how this one measures up to others but all I do know, if I had a choice of what pub to go to it would be here. This place is gorgeous, it is so beautiful on the inside all stone and light wooden features and big windows and high ceilings. It is so clean and the seats are really comfortable and the place is huge and well spaced out so you never feel that you are on top of others. It is light and bright and airy so it is a pleasure to come here for food and just chill out, it doesn’t feel like what I would consider a typical Irish pub.
It caters for functions too and you can hire the place out. It has live music and events on the weekends and it has a delicious smelling Chinese restaurant upstairs. So it is your one stop shop for a night out. The vibe here is very relaxed with a good mixed of young and old and lots of very friendly locals. The owners and managers are super nice and will know you name and drink by the second visit. The floor staff are great too.
Overall a lovely pub that is always a pleasure to visit.
