There’s a plethora of differnent chinese places in Rathmines and i can think of three that I would go to pretty regularly. Amongst these I include AA. There’s nothing that particularly sets it apart from the other ones in the area, but it’s always consistent and the food is tasty and like most Chinese is the right price aka relatively cheap. The interior of the place is clean and fresh, but if you’re like me you’ll just grab your food and head home with it. It is comforting to know that you’re getting fresh food though and not yesterday’s meat.

Yet another brand new eatery in Rathmines — this is the 3rd I have come across in the last week alone and speaks volumes about what’s happening with the Irish economy at the moment! — we are all ordering in /out rather that dining out — its a lot cheaper and in mine own humble opinion can be a lot nicer too!(granted I have recently become a parent and therefore have no life to speak of therefore even a meal in is a big deal!) Is it just me or do other people get impressed when they put half the menu in Chinese — like part of their target audience will actually know good Chinese from bad Chinese food, it fills me with confidence as well it should! I just grabbed a aromatic duck to bring home as a starter for 2 of us. The verdict? We shall be going for mains next time!
