My favourite coffee shop in Dublin. I’m a regular here with my friends for coffee. By regular, I mean really regular; every second evening or so. They make fantastic coffee which really screams Italian. Fantastically priced cappuccinos for € 2.50. Lovely staff that know just how I like it by heart at this stage! They have a lovely building and there’s nothing quite like sitting out by the fountain on a sunny day having one of their coffees. They are always busy serving what looks to be delicious food to customers, however, I myself have never eaten dinner there. It’s on my long-list of to-do’s. Their coffee is fantastic, and there’s no place like it! 10⁄10.

So some people obviously have different definitions of the word«large» and like a lot of people when I am expecting something large and don’t get it I am most disappointed! So this evening at 5.40 we decided to give this place a try for dinner. I had eaten here sometime ago and couldn’t remember if I actually enjoyed it or not. It was early so the restaurant only had 6 other diners. We perused the menu and my companion decided to have the chicken. Stupid woman! You’d think she should have noticed that you can’t have the chicken till after 6 and under no circumstances would the kitchen change this policy. She decided to go for the risotto instead. I had the«Large» Chicken salad. Food took about 15 minutes while we savoured a bottle of Italy’s number 1 sparkling water! When the food arrived we were both extremely disappointed. Risotto was plain and boring, and my salad was dismal with 4 chunks of bread that could have been purchased in the local Centra store. The salad had been described in the menu as somewhat brown from the balsamic vinegar. They obviously forgot to put this in as there was very little flavour off the salad. € 31.50 for what felt like two starters, I felt was somewhat pricey. I won’t be going back!

Another good meal here. Sublime Bruchetta, lovely fillet steak, gluggable Pinot Grigio. Lovin the potatoes with the steak. Other half had raviolli. Can’t stand raviolli. Each to her own. Can’t wait to go back. That is all.

Great place to enjoy simple Italian food the way it’s mean to be. My last visit(many before) the service was swift, but not uncomfortably so, food was great my son declaring his pasta the best ever! Anti Pasta Misto, lamb and various pasta was enjoyed by all– and even having a starter as a main course for someone in the party with a smaller appetite was not a problem. Tiramasu and panacotte were wonderful. All in the party agreed we would return another time as service great, food great atmosphere great. Thoroughly recomend.

Authentic is a wordi would use to describe this restaurant, its the food, it just feels so Italian and tastes so italian, its not just pizza and pasta there are other italian ingredients on offer that make you feel like you are in a real italian restaurant. adding to the feeling are the italian servers, of course an italian restaurant should have italian waiters! the inside, this is italian looking interior too, the tables are all very close together which makes it very continental but not in a badway, there is still enough room to make you feel like you are in your own private space. they have a good selection of wines here too if your after a boozy lunch or just a good dinner with a glass of wine. this restaurant has a nice outdoorseating area which is perfect for eating outside in the summer time, you are over looking the mill pond here so you dont feel like your in the middle of a shopping centre either!
