Really comfy seats with nice support and loads of room for your legs. I didn’t get any food but the place was very clean and next time I will get a few treats.

This cinema is the closest to us now and the only one we really go to anymore. I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to like it at first but it’s really a good cinema.
It’s always tidy and he staff have a smile for you, plus the Mister loves butter popcorn so how can we say no.
It was a little chilly the last time we were in there, but I think most cinemas can be that way sometimes.
Will certainly be back for the next blockbuster

Good service, nice cinema, not too expensive ! Comfy seats, temperature in the screens are good, not too hot or too cold ! Amazing slush puppies staff are very friendly too ! Would definitely recommend! And they have great deals on different days of the week !

I find the staff here are really friendly and helpful. The bad thing is in the rooms there self’s when there are people moving about in the back rows you can see the on the projector, which shows up on the screen and they must stop severing butter for the late shows which is one of the main reasons I’m sure we all go ha

Fantastic cinema. So cheap not just for students but families and adults too. So clean and great location. Beside the Luas stop for those who don’t drive. Staff aren’t always friendly but everyone has their bad days don’t they? Highly, highly recommend! Much cheaper, cleaner and better than vue.

Great cinema!!! The upgrade has five wonders for this place and it’s great to have it back.
Good selection of snacks, staff are great but the queues can but a bit of a pain the the rear…

THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS FREEZING !
I know this seems like an unusual thing to say in a review but it nearly puts me off going half the time… no matter what the weather is its always so cold in the film screen place when you are trying to get relaxed and cosy watching your film…
however i have noticed that it tends to only happen when i got to late films so im guessing they just turn the heating off after a certain time coming towards the end of the day /​close of business… (im talking like i go to a ⁹⁄₈ pm film and come 10 ish or so it starts to turn to ice…
I KNOW THE BUILDING IS CLOSING IN AN HOUR OR SO BUT WE ARE STILL WATCHING OUR FILM … brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…

My favorite cinema and this is mostly because of the buttered popcorn. So tasty. Since its been done up its so clean and the v.i.p section is really cosy me and my boyfriend love it here. Cheap aswell especially on a wednesday the ten euro deal is brilliant. At least once a week we try to visit imc its so entertaining

Went here last Wednesday to avail of their special offer deal. You get a movie, a medium popcorn and a medium drink all for € 10 which is cracking value.
We went early enough to get tickets as you can only purchase this deal from the cashier and not online beforehand. So we were given tokens for our food and went off and came back after a while.
When we came back a queue had formed for the food. In this cinema there are two separate food counters as you walk on, one on the left and one on the right. The one on the left has the Ben & Jerrys ice cream and you can also only get buttered popcorn from this side. I noticed that the left side only had one person serving and the right side had two people serving. Due to this the queue on the left was barely moving. I was afraid I’d miss the start of the film so I decided to go for the faster queue and would settle for a small tub of ice-​cream out of their freezer. Unfortunately when I got to the top of the queue they had no pre-​packaged ice cream left. So when we went to go through I politely asked the young manager if someone could go and serve people who wanted ice cream and explained why and that it would make more sense for them to have 2 people serving on the side with the ice cream and buttered popcorn. He couldn’t have been more apologetic and offered to go get the ice cream for me himself. He asked me what I wanted and came back after a couple of minutes with it for me, told me it was free of charge and apologised for the delay. This was EXCELLENT customer service and I was actually taken aback by it!
The popcorn is tasty and the cinema is spotless. It’s also unrecognisable from the old UCI cinema which had a gentle slope separating rows rendering your film unwatchable if you were unfortunate to have someone tall or with a big head sit in front of you! The rows are now separated by steps and the back row has a decent amount of leg room.
They also have a deal for unemployed people. It’s € 4.50 during the week for a movie up until a certain time.
I will definitely go again and I would certainly recommend that others go and avail of the € 10 deal on Wednesdays.

I would not normally be a cinema buff, but since the Opera season has started and Les Mis came on the scene, I have been frequenting this wonderful cinema.
Comfortable spacious seating. The Staff are a credit to themselves and the management. They are all without exception friendly, courteous, gracious, helpful and nothing is a trouble to them.
We are an older audience attending the Met Opera Season and we are well aware that these operas have not been well attended but we send Ian very genuine plea to the management to keep these cultural events streaming in, it also gives a good impression of our area that we are promoting arts and culture. Please try your best to hold on this opera season, realising that it is not a money spinner for you.

My first visit here since the renovations just happened to be on Halloween, so I think it was a bit quiet. They’ve done a nice job, because it had really gone to crap before.
Ticket price was a tenner, so not so bad and even though I ended up in a small screen the sound and vision were pretty good. It’s a handy cinema for me if I don’t feel arsed going into town or to Dundrum… it feels more low maintenance than that.
Just make sure to get your parking ticket validated (I forgot), as you get 5 hours free parking with a cinema visit

This cinema is located in the square shopping centre in Tallaght. There had been a UCI cinema there for 20 years or so, but this was closed in 2010. IMI gave it a complete make over and updated the screens to digital. It reopened in the early part of 2012
The décor and the lightning in the corridor area and the screening rooms is very impressive and modern which creates a very pleasant and nice ambience. Perfect for watching a good movie! The nicest I have seen in Dublin. The seats are very spacious and comfy .
You get 5 hours free parking if you ask /​give your parking ticket to the person who checks the ticket as you go in. The price is very reasonable 7 euro before 7 monday to friday. For students, its is 7 euro anytime and 5 euro every tuesday !
Myself and my friends were impressed with this cinematic experience! :)

OK so, I havent been to this Cinema in a long time partially because it had turned into a bit of a dive and also because it had closed down for renovations.
We went to the Batman movie on Friday and I have to say one thing about the Square Cinema…
HALLELUJA!!! THE BUTTER POPCORN IS BACK!!! YEAH!!!
This was for years the last bastion of butter popcorndom until they realised everyone was wiping their hands on the seats and the cinema slowly rotted away.
The one thing I have to take one star away is because they must have bought the seats in the same place as Ryanair. They are flip down seats with a gap in the back which you could fit a small dog through. Skinny people beware you might never be found again!
Anyway; Its nice and new, its clean, the staff have obviously been trained to be courteous to customers (unlike the dopes you get in another Southside Cinema) and it is back to being an alternative cinema
