I really enjoyed our one-night’s stay at the Manor West Hotel. It’s a very clean, American-​style hotel (which meant GLORIOUS AIR CONDITIONING!!!) and great front-​reception service. (In fact, the guy who checked us in was originally from Jersey! Hahaha.)
It’s one of the pricier places that we stayed in during our trip to Ireland, and we only knew of it because it was the place the bride suggested we book for the night of the wedding (it’s about a mile from Ballyseede Castle, where her reception was held). All in all, though, I was very happy with the hotel itself.
We were given complimentary breakfast as part of our stay (probably because we were with the wedding block), but, unfortunately, I slept through the window (7:30 — 10:00 AM) since, you know, I was sleeping off an Irish wedding, after all.
The hotel is conveniently located next to a rather large mall, but the other surroundings aren’t exactly beautiful. Still, I definitely give Manor West 2 thumbs-​up!
