Ballymount Hardware

I needed superglue, and was wondering where I could get some, and then I remembered there’s a hardware store across the road. I hadn’t been in it before but it has the mystique of all hardware stores, and the feeling that if you don’t duck you’ll hit your head on a birdfeeder or something.
I was confused as to who was the staff as there were three guys just standing around when I went in. The youngest guy gave me assistance when I asked for superglue… the two older guys accused me of being a glue-​sniffer, and told me it would stick to my nose. It was too early in the day for me to come back with anything other than an eye-​roll.
