Fun place. Casual dining(kid friendly) with good prices, good food and good service. Usually quite busy with sports on the television but plenty of tables and not so noisy that you can’t have a conversation. I’A cheerful place. I’d return.

Nice location, staff were attentive, busy spot, which is always a good sign. Unfortunately those who chose this as a place to eat probably did for the substantial portions of food. I was presented with an old fashioned menu, the cliched offering of «pasta, fajitas or stir fry» for vegetarians has been all too familiar to my ears over the years. A very boring and unimaginative offering, that was not listed on the menu, but which is what I was told was available when I asked the waiter. The blandness of the proposed«vegetarian options» was a warning of what was to come. The vegetable fajitas were underwhelming, tasted like a packet mix was used, which is probably what they were, neither guacamole or cheese was offered with them, to add some texture or interest to what was a very average meal, at an above average price.

A pub that offers fishing trips and B&B? sweet, I’m there! …throw in a short but respectable bar-food menu and the all important child-seet and you have a very plesant venue for luncheon. We had the Thai fish cakes(10.95 Eur) and the Cod goujons(thats fishfingers to you and me) at also 10.95, they were erm… well, we were hungry, we ate stuff, we were no longer hungry — great for a quick food fix, deffo not for those adverse to having everything deep-fried! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, noteworthy these days and much appreciated!
