We took a drive down the coast past Catania today and on our way back we found a McDonalds with a McCafe which they have all over Europe and I wish they had them back home.
They serve specialty coffees and offer a wonderful dessert and pastry selection. We got two capuccino’s and some chocolate mousse-​yum. The hubby thought it was a little too sweet, I thought it was a bit rich but still fabulous to share. They still have the regular menu (but of course like any Micky D’s the menu is adjusted according to location) Here you can find Nutella McFlurry’s, Panini sandwiches, Fresh peelled Kiwi on a stick (inside Happy Meals as a fruit option!) and Shrimp McWraps. I know you think I’m crazy for stopping at McDonalds when in Sicily-​but with two homesick kids-​a little bit of home brings me a lot of sanity!
Décor is modern with a fabulous café-​like seating area to enjoy your espresso, there is an upstairs area too, restaurant is clean and service friendly.
Outdoor seating and a teeny tiny play area for the little ones to enjoy.
