Stumbled upon an Anzio gem. Just outside the busier area by the docks. Great service, excellent fresh seafood, right off the ocean. . can’t ask for more. Started with the € 20 antipasta which I regrettably shared. 12 finely crafted and presented dishes both warm and cold(crudo) ranging from a fried Bacala(cod) on a chickpea purée, a beautiful eggplant parmigiana, cous cous with calamari … salmon cheesecake. Amazing! Problem with the antipasta we enjoyed it so thoroughly I didn’t have a chance for photos. Oh well. The mains ranged from a beautifully creamy risotto with gamberi an awesome grigliata mista(lobster, calamari, gamberi, spigola). An amazingly generous amount of lightly fried gamberi(pic). No room for dessert. That’s ok. Will definitely return.
