I had a most pleasant stay with my wife and 3 children, aged 7 to 17, on the night of June 26, 2015. Our suite, consisting of a living room/bedroom with a kitchenette and an additional bedroom, was able to accommodate all 5 of us comfortably. The location is ideal especially if you are traveling by train or by car, as Le Corniole is just steps away from Arezzo’s train station and parking on the premises is free. Best yet, the residence is on the outside perimeter of Arezzo’s city center, meaning that it is easily accessible by car (the city center is restricted to car traffic); however, all of Arezzo’s attractions (e.g., San Francesco’s church, the cathedral, etc.) are within walking distance. Room rates are quite reasonable; the host, Signor Giovanni, will go the extra mile to make sure that guests are happy. He even gave us a bottle of Chianti before we left.
