Montecampione is a great ski resort that has everything — it’s close to Bergamo’s Orio al Serio Airport (cheap Ryanair flights) it’s at the top of a massive lake and the small town of Boario is at it’s base.
You can stay in Boario or in the ski resorts, get lessons, hire or buy gear, have meals at the top restaurants up there and do fun activities like snow-​treking.
We ended up getting a really good end-​of-​season package with everything included — they’re always available online.
