I would say that I did walk into Yufen with low expectations. Surprisingly I was quite pleased with the food. The service was extremely fast. I mean we were basically the only people there but still order to delivery time was fast. It’s not the greatest Chinese food however for this part of town it’s not to shabby. I recommend not to order things expecting it to be prepared the same way as in the states. Example being the sesame chicken is just chicken covered in sesame seeds, no sauce.

It’s cheap and the food is really good. Staff is very friendly. Today they seemed upset since we wanted a larger table. But service is usually good no complaints here.

Hands down the best Chinese in the Aviano area. We went for lunch and the food prep was fast, delicious and fresh.

Disclaimer: I’m not overwhelmingly a fan of Chinese food. In fact, I often think it’s boring and bland(and too often, cold and/or soggy). Having said that, I really like this restaurant! The food tastes freshly prepared! Like it hasn’t been sitting on a warmer all day! The eggrolls and rangoons(apparently a new offering) also looked and tasted homemade — not fried from a bag of frozens. I had the«house chicken», which was lightly fried chicken bits in a sweet and slightly spicy sauce. The flavor was delightful. My companions’ dishes were also well flavored, but they have the Chinese hot oil on hand if you want tinker with the heat yourself. They have a pretty extensive menu, including duck and curry offerings, so I intend to hurry back to taste my way around(I’ll probably call in an order and run get it for lunch… I’m already thinking about curry rice…)
