This is the first place I’ve been that makes me feel like I have a small appetite. Large quantities of good, inexpensive pizza.

Good pizza restaurant with a wide selection of pizzas. The restaurant also has other Italian dishes if pizza isn’t your thing. Mostly a local crowd with some tourists. We had a Pizza Romana and a Pizza Diavola with a bottle of the local Emilio Ramagna Sangiovese. All were very good.

La Costa, Italy
This restaurant was recommended by the clerk at our hotel, but my family’s experience was unpleasant. We arrived a full hour before they were scheduled to close, and the waitress who greeted us told us they were closed. When asked why, she relented and said ok, but it’s pizza only. Needless to say, we didn’t feel welcome at all. The pizza was average. Perhaps it would have tasted better if we felt at home.
