Eating here was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Rome. For Easter Monday, friends took me to Grapes for a fixed menu lunch. Our waiter was high and took forever to return to our table(even for Italian standards); for example, it was an hour between getting our appetizer and our primi. The restaurant was only a third full. The portions were widely different at our table, some were half the size of others, and many dishes were cold. The bbq was very overdone but also cold. Worse of all, the staff was exceptionally rude. I usually don’t care about the quality of service because I care about the quality of the food, but in this case, I have to mention it because nothing was good today. I will reiterate that it was a fixed menu for this day, the kitchen only had to prepare a few dishes in total.
