Gisira Pizza & Drinks

Klasse Pizzeria. Abends wird die kleine Straße gesperrt und zum Restaurant mit toller Straßenbeleuchtung umfunktioniert. Super nettes Personal und junges Publikum. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Wenig Touries. Steaks gibt es auch. Sowohl Pizzas als auch Steaks mit Pommes haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. BUONO BUONO!

We planned to go for a nice pizza. After looking at some reviews on tripadvisor. as there aren’t any on Unilocal — yet! We decided to go to this place. It seems like a small factory. There are many, many tables and a lot of stuff. We decided to go for some house wine with small antipasti platter that consisted of freshly baked pizza bread with some salami, cheeses, olives, etc. It was delicious, indeed. As we were not too hungry we decided to order one pizza to share — quattro formaggi. Pizza was ok eish, I had so much better in Italy. The whole evening felt like they didnt have enough of plates in the kitchen as each and every time our plates were almost empty then one person of staff appeared and wanted to take it away… made us feel little bit less relaxed. All in all — place is not too cosy and as mentioned before — pizza is not the best. There are many other places in Catania serving so much better food, that I would skip it and look further.
