Stumbled upon this place while waking around como town. We Ordered the making rolls including spicy salmon, rainbow and tempura udon. We liked the rolls, not the best but definitely not the worst(if that makes sense) the udon itself was good even though the broth didn’t have much taste but overall it was good. They put lots of tempura inside(shrimp, sweet potatoes, egg plant, zucchini). It was good to have it in a chilly rainy day. The place itself is quite nice and spacious. We were there around 6:40pm in a Sunday evening nd were the know ones in the whole dining room. It probably starts to get more crowded later on.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover… This place gets really busy. It can also be empty. I can see why the later occurs. Imagine going to a bookstore to find a new book. As soon as you enter, you are kindly greeted and actively attended to. The clerk is nice and points out many options. You choose a book with a great cover, however as you open it, it’s empty. That’s eating at Kazan. Great service, everything looks good, oddly devoid of much flavor. We mainly order fish(nigiri, sashimi, rolls, hand rolls). The fish quality is pretty good. The most bland was probably the handrolls, especially the CA or Spicy Salmon The crème brûlée and chocolate cake were highlights…

Good, but not great. The octopus was very chewy as was the squid. The tuna and salmon were very delicious as was a white fish that I wasn’t familiar with. The combo roll was bland. The service is courteous and friendly. We needed a bit of help with the wireless as the default of Kazan Sushi was inoperative. A nice restaurant but far from the best sushi you’ll ever eat.
