This place was right across the street from our hotel. It looked really nice so we were excited to try it. Big disappointment. I wouldn’t mind how expensive the food was if it wasn’t so flavorless and the portions so small. 10 Euros for what was practically a sippy cup of vegetable soup, really? Even worse, the soup wasn’t even that great. It didn’t have much flavor and it looked like it’d been dumped from a can. The seafood ravioli was just OK. The shrimps were very hard to eat and there was barely any sauce, which would’ve been fine if the raviolis weren’t so dry tasting. The chicken dish(16 Euros) was just grilled chicken over some lettuce with some sliced parmesan thrown on it. It was dry, flavorless, and the chicken was barely warm. The only good dish any of us had was a lemon filleted fish served with fried potato slices, tomatoes, olives, and sprinkled with basil. It was salty and savory. It was very delicious. The service was so-so. Our server was slow and he wasn’t very friendly. The wine and bread were just OK. After a not so great dinner and considering the fact we were all still hungry, the check was no pleasant surprise(Over 120 euros). If you happen to be in this neighborhood of florence, I’d recommend skipping this restaurant.
