Stayed here for our honeymoon and this hotel did not disappoint. They are centrally located. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean & spacious. We had a massage at the spa and it was very relaxing. The hotel is only a couple of blocks from the leather market and lots of great restaurants and a short walk to the Ponte vecchio. The hotel offered complimentary breakfast and a free flute of Champaign every evening at 6:00. Highly recommend the hotel, it was the total package for me.

We just returned from a wedding in Tuscany during which we spent four nights at Golden Tower Hotel in Florence. The hotel was great and in the perfect location to walk to all the sites. The hotel staff was incredible at arranging advanced tickets to museums and booking us drivers. Our room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good — not great — but was sufficient to give us the energy to start the days. We would highly recommend the Golden Tower!

Truly a hidden gem in Florence! This hotel seems small and unassuming, but it is quite lovely. Located in the heart of Florence(an easy walk to most attractions, near all of the high end shops), it is beautifully appointed, clean, and inviting. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful, and willing to assist with anything you may need, from directions to restaurant recommendations. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a huge bathroom! Remember, even though your room is cleaned daily, and they even provide turn down service, your towels will not be replaced daily. We asked the housekeeper for fresh towels on the third day, and she begrudgingly provided them. The Golden Tower even has an utterly amazing breakfast buffet daily– not just a continental breakfast, it included eggs, bacon, sausage, cold meats, cheeses, cereal, breads, pastries, juices, and fresh coffee, tea or cappuccino. I often didn’t even need to eat lunch because the breakfast was so good! They also have an evening happy hour included, with a selection of small sandwiches and prosecco, also included! Unfortunately, they do not have a gym facility, but this was a minor detail considering all of the outstanding features of the hotel. Check in was fast and easy, as was check out(don’t forget that even if you pre-pay, you will have to pay city tax at check out). I would highly recommend Golden Tower, and if I find myself in Florence again, I would certainly return!

Since the manager oh so nicely replied to my review… well Antonio here’s my reply to you: Dear Sir: it is obvious that the 98% of your positive reviews had made you lazy in making sure that your guests are really treated well. For the first few requests we made with the front desk and we were told«No-we cannot», we were fighting an uphill battle and at the end of the day, we do not want to waste our vacation time indoors ‘arguing’ with your staff. AS for our parents not having a reservation, that maybe the case but we didn’t even blinked an eye with paying EUR700 per night for our parents to stay for less than 7 hrs. in a Junior Suite. The fact that we can afford to pay that price as a last minute option, it meant that we can afford to stay and HAVE indeed stayed at luxury and true 5 star establishments and most definitely NOT The Golden Tower. Last, considering that your response to our review denotes an air of entitlement — please do continue the poor service and rest assured that our friends and family who are world travelers will be notified to stay far far away from your hotel. You will not be lacking in patrons, I am sure. But you will never see or hear us advocating for your hotel. Good luck to you as well.

My fiancé and I stayed at this charming hotel last week. We were extremely pleased with the room, the bathroom was marble and had all amenities you could need. The bed was great. We needed wake up calls every day or we would have slept through the day the bed was THAT comfortable. The entire staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. They gave us directions to everywhere we were going and were all very courteous and sweet. Veronica at breakfast was great. Always greeted me with my decaf cappuccino. Fruit, great sausages, eggs, croissants, rolls, juice, cheese, and champagne, who could ask for more? The hotel was clean and spotless! Definitely going back. A hidden gem. Thank you for your hospitality again Ronnie & Jill

Don’t be tempted to make a dirty joke(as I did) about the name, because there’s nothing dirty about this place. Everything is spotless and classy, from the fluffy white bedding to the extravagant marble bathroom with its huge shower and the private jacuzzi on the balcony of my junior suite. As much as I enjoyed the quirky(and affordable) experience of renting private apartments throughout my trip to Italy, I have to say one of the highlights in terms of accommodation was our last luxurious night of the trip at the Golden Tower Hotel. It’s unassuming, with a small and easy to miss entrance and a pretty cozy lobby, but once you enter your room you’ll feel transported to another world. Though we didn’t get to take advantage of the spa because we tried to book too last minute, they have a really extensive list of massages and scrubs that seem to center around a Thai theme. The prices looked about comparable to what you’d find at a hotel spa in the US. I did get to take advantage of the breakfast served daily in their cozy little dining room, which was out of this world. One of the things we missed despite the mind-blowing food we had on this trip was a good hearty breakfast. They provided that and more, with charcuterie, lovely pastries, tons of fruit, and more hearty options as well. It’s also in a super convenient part of town, especially if you like to shop. Oh, and there’s that Duomo thing too :)
