Instructions for dinner: when you go in, you’ll be seated at the sushi conveyor belt. Use the guide on the table to find the pricing for each plate(color-coded) on the belt. Pick and choose what you want. For items that are not on the belt, tell one of the sushi chefs your order. When ready to pay, go up to counter and waiter or waitress will count up your plates and charge accordingly. We were in Florence and craving Asian food, something a little less indulgent than the traditional Italian fare and something fresh. We were confused by the hours shown and assumed they were only open for dinner, so that’s when we went. I had my heart/gut set on ramen after looking at the menu, but was surprised to find a non-traditional conveyor belt sushi place. There was no ramen available for dinner unfortunately, but the sushi was delicious and we got assorted tempura udon with shrimp and vegetables which was also delicious. We spent about 50 euros on the sushi and udon, which was not cheap, but not bad for sushi in a country not known for its Japanese food.

I know I know — I am in Italy!!! But I still need my sushi and I enjoy this place at lunchtime. The atmosphere is lovely, the conveyer belt of sushi flying by is fun and of course the food is quite good. And during pranzo, you can get the lunchtime special but be careful because you have to follow it to the letter in order to get billed the low $ 15 euro. I will admit that this is becoming a habit for me when I am looking for light, lean and low calorie. The waiters are definitely starting to know me. If you prefer a bento box style meal, then you can sit at a table and order off the menu. But for me — I prefer the fun bar. Only negative — no wifi.

Phenomenal. The conveyor belt sushi is very fresh and delicious. Some of the most fresh and inexpensive sushi I’ve had. Quality is 10⁄10. The octopus looked a bit dry and so I skipped it.

After a week in Italy, you start to see many of the same dishes on the menu. After two weeks, you start to yearn for fresh, light food. This is the place where your faith in fine Italian restaurants is restored. We never would have thought our best meal in Florence would be sushi and Korean BBQ, but it was. Great service, lovely place and darn good food. If you find yourself craving something lighter in carbs, this spot delivers. Upstairs is menu service and BBQ, downstairs is the sushi conveyor delivering a ribbon fresh delights for you to choose. Prices are determined by the style/color of the plate. Bön Appetito!

After traveling in Europe for 10 days, it’s simply natural to crave some Asian food. Our guide found this place from Google as it is not far from our hotel. I would not have anything bad to say about this place, but this experience has pushed me. Theres only 2 people working the floor and we understand they can have their hands full. So we gave up on asking for the menu. There’s this rude short hair Asian waitress with blond highlights who ignores us on purpose. She sees us calling but manages to bluntly walk pass us. It’s not like we’re being annoying or demanding? We were very polite and considerate. We Just simply want some drinks or even to order something. Then I finally got her attention and order some drinks, she manages to get it wrong. As I try to correct her bring us the right drinks, she manages to say with an attitude«But you ordered this» and walks away while I was in the middle of my sentence. How rude! Does not seem to have a problem serving other Italians in the restaurant. Long story short, avoid this place at all costs.

Never thought I would come to Florence and eat sushi… but hey, here I am Unilocaling about it. After being in Italy for a week and having carb overload, we wanted to take a little break and eat something different for a night. The place we stayed at was a minute away from Kome and so we decided to give it go! and wow. it really blew me away! It’s both a sushi bar and a korean bbq joint… we came for the sushi. There is a rotation sushi belt and also a menu to order off of. We got a few dishes from the belt and decided to order mostly from the menu. The sashimi sealed the deal. It was so fresh and so tasty! We really got our raw fish fix here… so good. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere was appeasing. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because the sushi on the belt was average and way more expensive than the menu.

This is the fantabulous sushi, the one and only you find in the very heart of Florence. These little plates are a joy for the palate and eyes, prepared express in front of you and served with taste. The ambience is fancy and tranquil, servers are kind and they always have suggestions that go with your meal. It’s the place where you want to take your date as it’s intimate and gourmand. Just love it!

Why aren’t you eating there right now? I bet you’re tired of pasta. So stop whatever you are doing and have the best sushi in Italy. Ok I’ve had no other sushi In Italy to compare it to, but I probably never will since I discovered Kome and will be back the second I return to Florence. Go here. Amazing sushi with high quality fish by Japenese chefs who make an art out of sushi creation. GOGOGO!

I know this is a delicate subject… sushi in Italy? My family members say«how dare you! Blasphemy!!» But hey! Italians love sushi too just like Americans, Mexicans, French, Brazilians etc. and this sushi place in young and hipster via dei benci has amazing fresh fish sushi just as good as anywhere else they serve good sushi in America… or France, Mexico, Brazil, etc… the service is excellent too(rare for Italy!) and the atmosphere is beautiful and they have yummy aperitivo nights there too(I think on Sundays?) you can eat«fast food style» on the bar with the treadmill with dif yummy plates if you are on a hurry or take your time and sit down at a regular table and order a la carte. This place has it all!

Kome was good, but wasn’t anything spectacular. We went for quick sushi bite & it was perfect for that. You sit around a tiny conveyor with various sushi options and pick what you want to try. The price is associated with the plate design. Very expensive! It’s good that you can try a good variety, but for 30 € for 9 pieces of sushi rolls… yikes! We didn’t leave full, but we weren’t going to keep eating there. Love the concept, liked the sushi… it satisfied my need for sushi.
