Perfect Italian dinner. it was the best pizza&homemade pasta we had during our trip. This is not tourist spot but rather a true authentic Italian restaurant. The service is good and the prices are extremely reasonable. I Cannot wait to come back here! There is seating inside or outside with heaters and a cover. Reasonable drink prices or beer & wine.

Great place for authentic Italian food, there were four of us and we had different things, I had the pasta carbonara which was the best I had in Italy during my visit. My husband had lasagna and it was very fresh and good. The sauce was amazing everything tasted natural and home made. A true experience that will not break the back. Staff was very friendly and they speak English very well.

This restaurant is amazing with how well the staff treat their customers. We walked in right around 7pm when they first opened as we were starving! Being the only Americans in at the time, we were given English menus and Adele spoke English to us and answered questions we had. All four of us had something different, and everything was authentic and superior to anything we could have imagined. We were so astonished at the level of comfort and quality, the next night we came back. With an unusual request about a coffee cup and saucer, Adele and Carmine went out of the way to accommodate our request! Being our first time in Italy, we were impressed by the hospitality and we will most definitely be coming back the next time we are in Florence!

OUTSTANDING! That is pretty much all you need to know about this restaurant. The service & delicious food. Adel & Carmine went above & beyond with a request we had with cup & saucer, lol. This is the 1st place I will visit on my returning trip to Florence! THANKYOU so much Adel & Carmine!

A very good restaurant for authentic Italian food. We came by this restaurant from the hotel reception people at the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo. We walked in with no wait and got served really quick. The daily special are really good and all the food was really good. We even came here again to eat dinner again the second day at Florence. I would recommend most of the food. Overall a great recommmendation

Fantastic food. This place had some of the best food we ate in Italy. We were the only English speakers in the restaurant. The waiter spoke enough English to help us order(this was fine by us because it was real italian food). We were the only Americans here the two nights we ate, the rest of the patrons were Italians, so we figured we were in a good place. It was very flavorful food and very reasonably priced. We had two kids with us one night, and they gave us desert for them and an appetizer. Great service. Best bet is to go family style and share the great food. Tiramisu was awesome.

Cute little neighboorhood trattoria near Piazza Beccaria… I go for the Chingiale, it is tender, succulent and delicious… the service is expeditious and the staff are a barrel of laughs… if you want to get off the beaten path and you are veal, pizza and meat lover GO! Prices are reasonable, to boot
