Had a beef plate with rice, beans, yucca and plantains. Hubby had a beef torta. Meat was succulent, just– right spicy, and sauces were to die for! Wonderful flavors!

I love this place! It’s truly an hidden gem in the santa croce area! I went with my boyfriend on a Friday evening. We didn’t want to have dinner in an other over-crowded place so we decided to give it a try, and we we weren’t disappointed! We both had the«piatto povero»: rice with some meat and fried platano chips. Then we also ordered two arepas; mine with veggies and my boyfriend’s with avocado and chicken. So yummy! Also such a great customer service! The waitress/owner is so nice and takes time to explain the dishes and the Venezuelan culture! Fully recommended!

Excellent authentic Venezuelan arepas! If you want to try something different to pasta and pizza and try out some South American food this is a great place to stop by. Sonia, the owner, is genuinely kind and will give you an excellent customer experience.

Great alternative to all the trattorias in the neighborhood. Open on Sunday! The family is friendly, the sandwiches tasty and economical, the décor is cute.

Excellent little venezuelan restaurant. Casual and family owned. Super good service. Ingredients fresh and delicious. Close to the Uffizi, but not touristy. Just perfect.

A hidden gem in my beloved Firenze. The empanadas are amazing and I can never have just one — they are that good! My favorites are the platano and queso-filled ones. Vegetarians like myself will find a delicious assortment of options, and carnivores will be delighted with L’Areperia’s many meat-based offerings. I adore the lovely ambiance(the window nook is perfect for studying!) and the great service. I highly recommend them!
