The best, if you live in the area they will pick up and drop off your laundry at your door! Good service!

After five days of dirty clothes build up we were in need of some urgent laundry having just arrived from Venice. This Laundry was a short 1 km walk from our hotel and due to it closing for lunch in 40min I decided to check it out shortly after as arriving. I arrived with 20mins to spare and requested our clothes to be washed and folded the same day. Initially I was advised by the lady working on the desk that this wasn’t possible. However after some polite international negotiation(via sign language) the very kind lady agreed to have this done by 6pm on the condition I returned before 7pm or they would be closed until the next day. I returned at 6pm and my clothes were neatly folded, packed and wrapped ready for my collection. Although this laundry was a little on the expensive side it was still about ¼ of the price you will pay in a mid-range hotel anywhere in the world. So in short ‘yes’ - I would use Lavanderia II Giglio again if I ever found myself in Florence.

Dropped off our clothes on Friday morning, they were washed and folded by Saturday morning. Very nice people. A little expensive, we paid € 25 for probably 10 lbs or less of clothes. But that seems like a fair trade for time saved while on a vacation. Saw at least one other wash on fold while walking the area, though not sure about pricing, etc.

Found this place from our hotel staff. They charge about $ 13 euro per kilo(approx 2 pounds). Guy was nice and friendly. My husband and I only washed clothes that we did not care about. We packed one week of laundry for our 14 day trip in Europe. We came back in about two days and the clothes were ready. Don’t expect them to be folded. I recommend washing clothes that you do not mind getting messed up if anything. Highly recommend this for travelers!
