Neromo

The whole experience at Neromo was positive — the ambiance is fun, the place was full of locals, the waiter was great, and the food was delicious. We ate a lot of fantastic food during our trip, but the Parmigianna pizza (with eggplant) stood out as one of our best meals.

Neromo is always packed with people and it’s no wonder. I tried their pizza and dessert and both were mouth-​wateringly delicious. Their soufflé cheesecake is possibly one of the best I’ve tasted. It’s so light and fluffy with a nice graham crust. I really would love to know the recipe but for now I’ll just have to keep going back for more!
You can get a table without a reservation if you go early on a Monday or Tuesday evening but it’s best to book in advance, especially if you’re thinking of going later in the week. The service is quick and friendly. The pizzas are reasonably priced but in general this restaurant isn’t on the budget end of the scale.

The restaurant I came across the bridge for was too full to take anymore so I found this place. The man out front was very convincing, one look in his eyes and we were in the door.
I’d go out of my way to eat here again. They have an IPA beer (rare in Italy) so I tried the very next day for lunch, but the restaurant only offers dinner service.
My partner and I tried the anchovy appetizer with lemon zest and I nearly broke his arm trying to keep him from eating it all. We should have ordered two.
I had the best pasta I’ve eaten in Florence, that stated after having traveled here many times in the past twenty years. The sentiment repeated with the pasta my partner ate.
The place was hip, full of eye-​candy and they gave great service… food service that is.

Ausgezeichnete Pizza! Auch der Nachtisch war sehr gut. Die Räumlichkeiten sind modern und stilvoll. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber. Hier stimmt das Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis.

Was visiting Florence in October and happened upon Neromo while strolling about. The gentleman out front coaxed us in, and I’m so glad he did! The food was fantastic, and we loved the ambience!

Exciting scene and the best pizza. I felt like giving up my day job to be an apprentice pizza maker. Get reservations and go late, say 930 or later. Wow.,

Stayed in Florence one night and using the laundry mat over the river from our hotel we discovered this gem. It looks like this is where some of Florence’s «beautiful people» hang out so people watching is awesome. The food was excellent we had beef, a speciality in Florence, pork and two starters with a chocolate fondant to finish. The head chief, we believe, clad in burgundy matching smock and hat even came out and toasted with us, very special place. Even just try the bar for a drink if your passing by.
