Wonderful men that run this place — so friendly, gave advice on food & made delicious sandwiches! Also, wine on tap for € 1(yum!)

This was the best Sandwich I’ve ever had! The staff was friendly and explained each item to us in English. You can really see the passion they have for their ingredients and menu. Great surprise at the end too!

One of my favorites in Florence! Meat is all sourced from a private family run butcher shop, jams are all sourced from a local mom and pop farm, and bread also sourced from a mom and pop bakery run by an old couple in their 70’s. The sandwiches are well thought out and amazing and special to this region of Italy. Favorites are the prosciutto with truffle oil and mushrooms and pecorino cheese along and the finocchiona with red pepper jam and pecorino cheese. The Finocchiona is definitely something special!

Gorgeous little sandwich shop with incredibly fresh, authentic and tasty food. The shop is small but the staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a Parma ham and grana padano sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, I would definitely recommend a visit

Accessibility(Parking /Wait Time) 1⁄1 Star: I walked here. No wait to order a sandwich. _____ Service(Waiter /Cleanness /Ambiance) 1⁄1 Star: great service! Very nice to Americans and will help you order a delicious sandwich. Just tell them what meat or cheese you want and they will toast together an amazing masterpiece! _____ Taste(0=Not Edible /1=Edible /2=Good(average) /3=Must Try!) 3⁄3 Stars: MUSTTRY! The best sandwich place I’ve been to during my 2 week trip! I had some kind of fancy salami, sun dried tomatoes, the cheese they recommended, the sweet red spread they recommended, all toasted between a soft, fluffy, crispy square bread. It was the best sandwich ever! So simple yet so delicious. I’m used to big crazy sandwiches from San Francisco, but this simple delectable masterpeice makes me rethink if all those add on are really needed if you have a few super high quality ingredients that complement each other so well. _____ Overall Experience 5⁄5 Stars _____ Last Words Orgasmic in its simplest form

This local store owned by two friends was great. The sandwich are delicious. We were a large group and asked them to make 5 different sandwiches for us. They were all tasty in their own way. Their fennel salami one is definitely the best though. Extremely reasonable price, definitely a good place.

Absolutely delicious. I don’t know why this place hasn’t taken off yet but I’m sure it will. They take time and care to prepare each sandwich and they are a perfect blend of sweet, savory, crunchy and meaty. Just an amazing dance of flavor in your mouth. The sandwiches are truly masterpieces. I’m so glad I came here before going to all antico. That place was so overhyped.

The guy custom made couple of sandwiches for us. One of them was vegetarian. Both the sandwiches were great. He even explained all the ingredients.

Found this little gem on our way back to our flat from Mercato Centrale. We were planning on getting sliced cured meat from Mercato Centrale but the meat station seemed to be closed… I remembered seeing Sandwichic on our way to Centrale Mercato and said to myself I’d come get meats here if I can find it elsewhere. It’s hard to miss Sandwichic because it stands out beautifully with the window displays. We went for their dried meats al la carte to go. It was € 4 for 100 grams of prosciutto we got 200 g: I highly recommend this one, fabulous. € 4 for 100 grams of Tuscan salami: also highly recommended. € 3 for 100 grams of some dark meat shoulder stuff: good but a little in different. We ended up paying € 16 for three types of cured meats. Very reasonable considering how much they give. We would’ve been fine with just prosciutto and Tuscan salami. Both were outstanding, some of the best cured meats. We have been slicing bread from Centrale Mercato, drizzling Olive Oil and toasting then putting the meats with some Sheeps milk cheeses… So good. Marco was very polite, professional and very classy. There are three young men who own this shop and they are passionate about their food and customer service. Thank you Sandwichic.

This place kicks ass. Best sandwich I’ve had in Italy! I ordered a second right after I finished my first! You can really tell the owners put their heart and soul into each sandwich! I got talking to one(the only one working) and he said it’s him and two others that own it and work here. You can taste the ingredients! I made my first sandwich by picking things and going with the flow. Second one I asked for his favorite. I’d be back in a nano second!

The +: * Everything is fresh. That means that nothing is pre-prepared; your sandwich is litterally made in front of your eyes, with cut-to-order meats, cheeses and veggies. * The bread is very good * It is soooo cheap for such quality ingredients(€ 4 – 5 a big sandwich) The -: * Service is a bit long, partly because nothing is pre-made(for instance, your bread is rubbed with tomato with love on the spot, which takes a good 30 seconds :)) * No available seats in front of the shop, a couple are inside but not the best place since many customers are buzzling around waiting to order Definitely give it a try if you are around at lunchtime!

Great place to get a sandwich and prices are very reasonable. Owner was very polite and helpful when my wife ask what his recommendation was he enthusiastically explained the nuances of his sandwich making operation which Borders on or is more like art form than normal sandwich construction.

Absolutely the best food in all of Florence! The atmosphere is small but quaint. The sandwich I had was chosen by the very friendly worker. Fennel salami, pecorino cheese and onion jam. So beyond incredible. We enjoyed it so much we ate there two days in a row. Plus it was about 10 euros for us to both have a sandwich and 2 drinks. I will recommended this to anyone who visits Florence. Bravo!

I went to this place for a saturday lunch totally by chance and it turned out to be a great place. The quality of products is very high so that you might be eating a casual and common sandwich, but a very chic one indeed: super good, among the best i have eaten in the city. Bread, ham, cheese: each ingredients was good. I like when the ham is a good one and not full of grease as it sometimes happen under the pretext that it ends up hidden in the bread. No, here, no jokes about sandwiches, they are taken seriously. The place is small but offers some little tables against the wall. People are very nice and welcoming and we were given a button for luck at the end of the meal. Cute.

Excellent little artisanal sandwich shop in Venice. These guys love what they do and know what they’re doing. I will return every time I’m in Florence.

Came into Florence starving and quickly jumped onto Unilocal to look for something to snack on that was close by. When you walk in, the shop is small, but has a great look and feel to it. The men behind the counter were very friendly and take their job very seriously. You can almost see passion on their face as they make you sandwiches. Only the look on my face, as I ate, was more intense! My girlfriend and I ended up coming back every day of our visit to grab another bite to eat. You can’t go wrong with their flakey breads and self serve wine. I definitely recommend this place and would return if I ever visit Florence again.

How this place has so many stars baffles me. Yes they make a good sandwich compared to delis in America, but compared to Italy’s standards there’s nothing special here. It’s even more expensive then many other delis in Florence. Save your money & give All’Antico Vinaio a try. You won’t regret it.

This is a great quick lunch. We were on the way to see the statue of David and needed a bite. The delicious looking meats in the windows drew us in. I asked for two of the servers favorite sandwiches to split with the girlfriend and they make them for you. I don’t recall what they were, but they were amazing. They have 1 € self serve wine as well. Two young men were working the counter and both spoke great English.

the guy who makes these sandwiches is awesome and so nice! He freshly cuts your proscuitto, ham, and salami all of which are amazing. He uses all local meats also. I recommend proscuitto crudo and the sun dried tomatoes are really good! Also the balsamic sauce. For 2.50 euro you can get biscottis and wine to dip them in(a typical Florentine dessert) Love this place!
