Lovely bartenders, a fairly relaxed atmosphere and amazing drinks/shots! What’s not to love?

Shot Café, was my favorite place in Florence. Studying abroad the bartenders became a 2nd family to me. I could not imagine my experience without them. Valentina, Tommaso, Riccardo, Ilaria they were all people who made the effort to get to know us. Till this day we keep in contact and will love them forever. Too many nights i will never remember with the people i will never forget

I find it hilarious that I’m writing the first English review for this place cuz it’s right in the middle of a tourist-infested area(it’s rly close to the Duomo). The upside to its location is that the menu also had some English on it and the employees probably know some rudimentary English too. I first encountered this place when I studied abroad for my sophomore spring semester in 2011. The legal drinking age is 18 in Firenze(I was 19 or 20 at the time), so a couple of friends and I stopped by here to start off what turned out to be a pretty shabby night. The interior has all this pretty white lighting scattered around that gives it a chill ambience. The bar wasn’t exactly hopping even though it also touts itself as a dance club, and I can’t remember us ever going back there after this one time. From their prolific menu, I ordered a White Russian w/kahlua and some kind of cream on top, and I liked it even though it was kinda strong. After swapping/sampling my friends’ drinks, I thought it was a relatively sedate and expensive place to start off a bender, especially since everything only SEEMS to be cheaper in euros. Ultimately, if you happen to find yourself in Firenze, don’t go out of your way to come here. We only came here cuz we lived a few blocks away from this place on Via Ricasoli, and STILL we only came once in all those 4 months.
