The Laundry C@fè

This is not a café any longer, it is just a self service laundromat.
This had really good, modern machines and at an affordable rate.
Although the majority of things are written in Italian, it is quite easy to figure out what to do. The machines seem to take $ 2 euro coins. I didn’t have any so used the change machine. This unfortunately gave me god tokens rather than coins. The tokens are good for all machines there, the only bad side is I didn’t need to use all tokens (as at a minimum you need a $ 10 euro note). So I lost out on $ 2 euros. I wasn’t so fussed over this.
There are two size machines, a small takes $ 4 and a big takes $ 6. The wash for a normal load seems to take 40 minutes. The dryers take $ 2 for 18 minutes.
Like all washing machines and dryers you get to pick the heat settings. Pictures will help explain this if you need it.

What an awesome little place! The owner is a lovely guy who speaks pretty good English (and makes great hot chocolate!), there is great music playing, free wifi, books to read and comfortable couch while you wait. The laundry equipment is new and easy to operate and the owner comes to help you on how to use it when you first come in.
SOO much better than the usual dodgy laundromat. this place is so funky you actually enjoy hanging around. Only 15min walk or so from the central train station area of Florence.
