Finding this hotel was really difficult. They need to fix their sign, make it flash, make it bigger like the other hotels. The sign for this hotel is so small it’s barely noticeable. It didn’t help that google maps did not put this hotel in the right spot. Couldn’t find this hotel for hours.
The actually hotel is nice. The breakfast was nice. I’m not too picky. It’s included. The bed was really comfy, probably the best bed I slept on in Italy, the shower was great, and they had AC. They really need to fix the sign.

we found a roach in our suite and they did not even offer any type of compensation. we spent months on the phone with orbitz and the hotel to try to get a refund and they gave us back only 10% of one night as compensation. nasty! stay here if you like roaches…

This has to be one of the, if not the best hotel to stay at in Florence. It is literally a two minute walk right across the street from the train station. Do not let this dissuade you from booking. I reserved a classic suite, and when we checked in, the friendly front desk man, Martin (?) gave us a suite on the 4th floor. I had e-​mailed the day before to make sure there was a sofa bed.
When we walked in, it was two rooms, side by side with a common front door. We each had our own bathroom and housekeeping had set up the sofa bed. I had a small kitchenette in my room, but to use it was an extra charge. Each room had it’s own safe, small fridge, and t.v. There was also separate temp controls.
Breakfast was included and getting to the breakfast room was easy, since it was in the sister hotel next door. It included pastries, scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, etc… and coffee! it was a great way to start the day.
The view from the room was great! Never really heard much noise. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else cause the people who are carting their luggage through the city don’t look very happy. If my travels bring me back this way, I would definitely stay here.
