This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this place is the real deal! Older friendly Italian waiter and cook. Spoke decent English and very helpful. We all had pastas of different varieties. Pesto, spicy red, bolognese, pasta fazzole. The pasta melted in our mouths(super fresh) and the sauces were amazing. We have been a lot of places, but this trattoria stuck with us.

An awesome spot to grab a bite to eat and relax. Look to your right and there is the statute of David. The food was good(had the sausage pizza) and for this area decently priced. Order a bottle of the house Chianti and soak it all in.

This was such a nice surprise. We were walking around as it was our first night in Florence. There were a bunch of restaurants all around the square, but this one had the nicest menu and was the most crowded. We chose it and were happy we did. The pasta was delicious, perfectly cooked and the house chianti really nice. The waiter was nice and tried to speak some English whilst we tried to speak some Italian. Had no problems. The price was very resonable and we almost went back but wanted steak instead of pasta. Really, where else can you go and have a great pasta meal while looking at Michelangleo’s David?
