Super good restaurant. Food is excellent and setting is casual. Probably wouldn’t wear shorts or hiking attire, but jeans are OK. Fare is designed to be served in traditional courses, so be careful and skip pasta or meat course. Antipasti sampler not to be skipped and feeds two easily. Great wines at reasonable prices. Wine, beer, three courses for two at just over 100 Euro. A good deal for food and service of this caliber.

On a late evening, we were searching for a good restaurant in the cute town of Frascati. With our broken Italian, we asked a couple of Italian guys to recommend a good one and Ara Anua is the one that they recommended as the best in Frascati. We had no reservations, but we were seated as soon as we arrived. I loved the décor as I entered; looked very cozy and rustic in a classy way. I don’t remember what we exactly ordered, but I think it was some kind of ravioli. Turned out to be delicious. And we stopped off our meal with Tiramisu, the REAL tiramisu. Definitely very different from the Tiramisu that we get in the US. It was creamy, but not very heavy like how it is in the US. Ohh, it was just a perfect way to finish the meal.
