Sehr freundlicher Frühstücksservice mit guter Auswahl. Der Chef ist ein guter Gastgeber und es macht Spass hier zu sein.

In einem verregneten Urlaub, war dieses Restaurant der rettende Anker! Obwohl dieses Restaurant umgeben ist von neumodischen hippen Bars, ist hier immer was los. Und das aus gutem Grund! Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch, ich hatte beim ersten Mail den Salat Tricolore, der zwar für einen Salat kein Schnäppchen ist, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Ein ganzer Mozzarella, eine halbe Avocado und einwandfreie Tomaten und Salatblätter rechtfertigen den Preis von knappen 9,00eur. Beim zweiten Besuch gab es dann für mich und meinen Freund jeweils eine halbe Pizza, eine ganze ist wirklich nur für den großen Hunger gemacht! Auch hier war die Qualität einwandfrei, knackiger Boden, aromatische Tomatensauce und leckerer Käse. Aber nicht nur das Essen ist spitze, auch der Gastgeber ist ein echtes Original! Jeder Gast wird freudig begrüßt und schnell und zuvorkommend bedient. Es werden Scherze gemacht, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Falls Giardini nochmal unser Reiseziel sein sollte, wäre ein Besuch im O’Neil sicher!

The owner is 5 stars. He can’t be more friendly and makes the dining experience a joy. We ordered the calamari and it was okay, but this goes for 95% of the calamari dishes I have had. So, if you like calamari don’t let my review prevent you from ordering it. It’s just I have had the best calamari from a food truck in Borgo, in San Marino at the Thursday market. The cannoli was really good, however the nuts sprinkled on it provided a smokey flavor. I would order the cannoli again and ask for no nuts or scrape them off, for maximum enjoyment!

My husband and I ate here several times over the course of a week. I had the pasta carbonara and I also the catch of the day a sea bass. The food was fabulous and fresh! The Seabass came with french fries and salad for only € 25. I also had the buffalo mozzarella salad. The buffalo mozzarella is so much better than anything you can get in the US.
