Such friendly guys. They helped us call a taxi when the small busy restaurant we had just come from couldn’t get hold of one.
Served us some nice white at reasonable price with a coffee semi freddo cheesecake that was presented beautifully. Tasted nice but not the best Italian dessert I’ve had. Not badly priced however the rest of the menu didn’t wow and I don’t think would have had such a personal touch earlier in the evening when very busy.

The service was fine. But the food was not. I’m not someone unwilling to pay a high price for high quality food. But it’s ridiculous to pay high prices for poor quality food. We have had bistecca fiorentina many times but the one at Gall Nero was tough and full of muscle. It was terrible. A 5 euro cover charge per person is insane when you don’t even get the bites you get in other restaurants. I would recommend going anywhere but here.

Food was not that memorable and the service was atrociously slow. They left the dirty plates on the table, never brought bread plates or oil etc. and so forth. I would watch out for this place. As usual, the chianti makes everything better so you tend to forget the dreck.

After a week in Greve in Chianti, this is the best restaurant we found. Great food, wine, and service! An all round great experience, made us have dinner there twice!

Excellent! Perfect meat on the BBQ grill and fantastic pasta — great wine list of local wines… My daughter and I shared the mixed Tuscan antipasti, which was excellently judged, and my son and I shared the mixed grill secondi — excellent

Not a pizzeria any more. It has become kind of classy (rather kitch), thus expensive. The food is not worth the price.
