Antica Trattoria Centro

Sorry Antica Trattoria Centro, but we were not impressed. The service was mediocre and the food was average. The hostess was somewhat rude. It took us 30 minutes to be waited on and she was impatient with my questions. The gnocchi and fish was ok, but have had much better. We were presented with all we ordered at the same time, which was awkward. I would not go back to this restaurant. The waiter/​busboy did little for us and then after our wait, noticed we had only a bottle of water and the table and sent the brusque woman to take our order. Her impatience with us left us wondering what we had ordered. Most of the first courses were limited to two people, which was really limiting. Maybe 5 things were for one and the menu didn’t say what was in three of them. There was a lot of business by the wait staff, carrying in large stack of plates and glasses. It was 10:30 pm, and they surely weren’t expecting more business that night.

Did not have a reservation the hostess seated us promptly, nice atmosphere very cozy waiters where excellent order chianti buondonno best chianti I ever had. Ask hostess how my fish was being prepare and she look at me like I was an idiot no patience at all a real «****» the fish I had was excellent my girlfriend order the pawns not worth the 20er to play with 5 shrimp with heads still on I know I’m being a little picky but she made my night uncomfortable the best thing about the whole night was the wine

OMG, this place is amazing. We ate here twice on our stay in Levanto. The food was so good and with so much love to it, you might want to eat here even more! It’s a family type of restaurant, meaning that it is run by a family and serves food for families. A lot of the dishes are for 2 or more people, like the seafood risotto, which was served in a copper pot. The freshest seafoods, and the rice cooked just perfectly. The clams with spaghetti, once again, cooked perfectly and with such flavor, nothing was left on the plate.
The gattifin, which is a typical vegetable ravioli served fried, was amazing. A great starter to the meal. Do not miss this place if you are in Levanto.

Omg! The food was so good I forgot to take a pic. I had the mussels and my husband had some pesto pasta. I am only here for two days and if possible I will eat here every night. The price is also very reasonable. This was truly an orgasmic experience.
