There are other Geco Supermarkets in the neighboring towns of Corniglia, Manarola and Monterossa.
The one here in Vernazza is smallish, but it shares with the rest the unique qualities of fair prices (cheap really), excellent quality products and great service with a smile.
Having a place in town for a couple weeks, I was happily surprised on my first visit as to how reasonable the grocery prices are. The main reason is that the locals shop here too and having the advantage of it being a co-​op, the prices of everything are kept reasonably low.
The dry goods, fresh meats, cheeses, local produce are all top notch.
Open everyday, but closed between 1100 and 1600.
