Favorite dining experience in Italy! My three companions and I ate upstairs in the restaurant portion of Aristide. The service at this family operated restaurant was welcoming and accomodating. Myself and two other girls split the fish of the day, sea bass(€ 50), and it melted in our mouths. We enjoyed watching our server prepare the fish table side. We also split the salad and roasted vegetables(€ 5/each). The salad was pretty basic, but the vegetables were very good. My third companion had the calamari and shrimp which she also greatly enjoyed. Of course we had a few bottles of the house white as well. The strawberry and crème tart(€ 5) was simple and delicious! The service was quality and the food was fresh and authentic. I definitely recommend!

I would highly recommend the seafood risotto. The curry was delicious and the seafood was top notch! I give it a 4 star instead of 5 because my dish was more shell than food. My wife also ordered risotto and hers had much more seafood, so I guess it is kind of inconsistent and you just have to get lucky. Nonetheless, you can’t go wrong eating here while at the cinque terre

One of our favorite dining experiences in Italy! My wife and I stayed at a b&b across from the café during our stay in Manarola and frequented Aristide in the morning for breakfast. We loved the pastries and still crave them now that we’re back in the states! We also had the chance to try them out for dinner and weren’t disappointed. The restaurant is situated near the town’s square and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see the local kids come out and kick a soccer ball around during dinner. Wine, food, and service were all great and we would definitely recommend this to others. The family that owns this place takes pride in the quality of their food and the experience of their customers.

Enjoyed dinner here our first night in Manarola. We sat in the outside terrace. The servers were very busy so they were hard to get ahold of but the food was amazing and a great value for money. This was my favorite restaurant in Manarola. I would return here in a heartbeat.

We ate here for lunch at the downstairs café(there is a more upscale café up the road). We ordered three pizzas – margherita, salami and veggie(eggplant, pepper and zucchini). All three were great but the veggie was the best which surprised us. If you like spicy, ask for their spicy oil. We also ordered one salad which is the only salad that had chicken on it and it was very fresh and good. No dressing besides olive oil and vinegar per usual but the tomatoes, lettuce and chicken were all great. Fun outdoor seating with a clean bathroom. Staff was friendly and nice. Affordable, pizzas were ~€ 7 each.

Favorite meal in all of Cinque Terre! Everything we had tasted amazing and the prices were also very good. Would definitely go back again and recommend to friends! We had the octopus and potatoes appetizer and two daily special pastas(squid ink w scampi and green pasta with shrimp). Both were really good. For dessert we had the panna cotta with caramel. I wish we ordered the chocolate instead though because the caramel was actually too sweet for me. Next time! :)

Get here! This place is family owned and to every last detail exceeded my expectations! Had the tomato, mozzarella & tuna bruschetta — delicious! The tagliatelle al ragu — amazing! And the strawberry & cream tart — SO good! Check out my pictures to see them. The atmosphere is incredible! I hung around for hours because it was raining outside and I wanted a casual relaxed dinner. I found the café so I could be on my phone using their wifi and really enjoyed the relaxed vibe. So trendy inside & clean. The service was amazing too! Both the ladies inside spoke very good English and even helped me w my Italian words & recommended the best dishes. Get here if you have time while you’re in Manarola!

Loved our evening! Wonderful textures and presentation. Not directly on the water but beautiful sea breeze. Ordered the special tag with mushrooms and shrimp and butter/safe ravioli. The swordfish app was sea salty and delicious. Wonderful meal.

Best meal we had in Italy. Just go order the fish ravioli with shrimp in a light tomato sauce. So light and fresh. Not fishy at all. We ate there twice for dinner and had coffee and pastries in the café every morning. I will dream of going back to Manarola just for Aristide.

I enjoyed a nice café lunch here. I ordered a tuna and mozzarella sandwich and my husband had an anchovy panini. The sandwich was good, very simple. My salad was full of fresh ingredients. We also ordered a caffe mocha, which was delicious. The experience was very good, and also quite quick, especially for an Italian café.
