We came upon this restaurant by accident. While we plan carefully, the one we had chosen was closed. Very tired from walking, we took this one since it was just across the street, and expected little. It turned out to be a happy accident. We had grilled vegetables with very flavorful herbs; a polenta with tangy, interesting soft sausage. Finally, a risotto cooked with Lambrusco wine and bacon, full of interesting, rich tastes. Since we told her we were too full for desert, the waitress brought us almond cookies with a liquor. And then the bill. We were shocked: 35 euros for one of our best meals to date on this trip, into it for two weeks. The restaurant is small, probably family run, and outside the touristy section. We were leaving the next day or would have been back to try more dishes. Staff had little English, but that was not a major obstacle. The space is air conditioned.
