I don’t understand how no tourist has yet Unilocaled Irrera 1910. It’s a fairy land of Sicilian desserts and if you find yourself in Messina and don’t hunt this place down, you’re out of your mind. Pasticceria Irrera is considered by many to make the best cannoli in the world, and I would proudly agree with that. I literally got teary as I took my first bite. Just a word to the wise, though… Eat the treats fairly soon. Everything made from scratch also means no preservatives, so by the next night, not as amazing. But fresh out of the display case? It’s a religious experience.
