I ordered Arab pita, my wife had a salami one. We were quite tired after the journey so we ordered beers too. They were very cold and played well in the heat. The pitas were very good and the service was super nice. I do not know if it is normal here but we got chips for free. The bar is nice because it is open almost till morning. The interior is a mix of bar, kiosk, candy shop and a British gentleman club. I highly recommend.

The Quadronno is a famous sandwich bar in Milan and it wouldn’t be fair to say their panini(sandwiches) aren’t good. Not having had one for quite some time, I couldn’t avoid a feeling of delusion a few days ago. I chose the Lisbona(Praga ham, game pâté, brie, Port); I found it smallish, the ham not as abundant as expected, and I couldn’t notice the Port. It cost 7 €(the price of a pizza in many pizzerie in town) and not really up to the price. The draft beer, a birra media(40 cl.) was good. But it cost 7 €, a rip-off. In conclusion: if looking for a good panino in Milan, prefer the Panino Giusto(a panino will cost the same, beer priced at 5,50 €) or better still as you will save 1 €, the Crocetta(panino at 6 €, beer at 5,50 €). Recent paninos had at around this time both at the Panino Giusto and the Crocetta had an edge over that of the Quadronno.
