The building used to host the same store in fewer floor and with a more traditional layout; thr building has been properly restructured and walking through the different floors is a nice experience … however it looks much more like a brand flagship showroom than a place where you would actually buy some clothing items … despite the large size of the multi floor store it seems that there is much less product choice compared with the much smaller same name stored located previously in the same premises. Also the price point was increased to sort of challenging levelprobably to cope with Excelsior the other luxury mega store located not far away from b&B. Nice place but probably not a much compelling mix of cost and quality for clothing items

The new Brian & Barry Building opened more than a month ago after a full rebuilding of the store and its conncept. It’s a 9-floor shop that has a Sephora inside and lots of clothes from different famous brands(all very expensive, IMO). It wants to be a NYC inspired shop, with clothes and eateries in the same place, in fact, that’s what I love about this place the most: they have Eataly inside! The famous quality food chain opened a couple of restaurants inside the B&B Building, a meat and hamburger restaurant(3rd floor) and the piadineria in the –1 floor. There’s also the yummy Gelateria Alpina and Eataly Café in the ground floor. Besides there’s a Rossopomodoro pizzeria inside(which I don’t really love) and a Tea corner in the 5th floor where you can buy nice(but expensive, of course) tea by the gram. On the top floor there’s a fancy restaurant, Asola, with a famous chef cooking in the center of the room in an open kitchen. So now for lunch break I don’t have to go all the way to Piazza 25 aprile to get a gelato or a piadina at Eataly! I still have to try the hamburgers, but with Eataly’s excellent meat quality, I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. Btw, they don’t take reservations at the Eataly restaurants and it gets crowded in lunch hours so be ready to queue and eat fast. If you like fancy restaurants, Asola has also an interesting«business lunch» menu(lower price).
